Northrop Grumman Corp.’s law enforcement information exchange system was awarded the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce’s public safety corporate vital link award.
Northrop said the award recognizes dedication to public safety personnel.
The award was presented at a ceremony during the chamber’s annual luncheon in Rockville, Md.
Northrop said LInX’s crime and incident reporting system was integrated with an automated biometric identification system that helps law enforcement access, archive, and mine data.
The company also said the system works to find hidden associations within existing law enforcement records and sources.
