The Defense Information Systems Agency has made available a Carahsoft Technology Corp. and Adobe-designed mobile solution for conducting mobile meetings and engaging in messaging services.
DISA, Carasoft, Adobe and the Defense Connect Online development team announced Monday they released a version of DCO Connect in the Google Play app store, allowing users to conduct meetings via Android devices.
The web-conferencing and chatting program was developed under a multi-year $93 million contract awarded in August 2011.
More than 650,000 users across the Defense Department can use the solution, which supports nearly 40 million web conferencing minutes and 30 million chat session messages per month, Carahsoft said.
Pentagon contractors and personnel can acquire the new offering for free in the Android app store.
