DHS Contractors To Hold Forum With TSA Admin John Pistole

A nonprofit organization representing many homeland security contractors is starting a new forum to establish dialogue with the Transportation Security Administration, Government Executive reports.

The companies, members of the Washington Homeland Security Roundtable, have created a senior executive industry forum that will start with a meeting on June 5 with TSA Administrator John Pistole.

Accenture, Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Boeing, DRS Technologies, IBM, L-3 Communications, Lockheed Martin Corp., Raytheon, SAIC Inc., TASC Inc., URS Corp. and Unisys are partners in the organization.

WHSR Director Kay Olive told GovExec the group is looking to work with TSA leadership to help address any needs the administration has.

On May 16, the Navy held an industry day to brief contractors on the branch’s solid state laser technology maturation program
