Forbes Names NIC To ‘Fastest Growing Tech Companies’ List

Forbes magazine has listed NIC Inc. on its list of the 25 fastest-growing tech companies in America for the first time, the company announced Thursday.

Requirements for consideration included minimum revenue of $150 million and a minimum market value of $500 million.

The magazine also required sales growth of at least 10 percent throughout the last three fiscal years and ranked companies based on their three-year average sales growth.

In October 2011, the company was listed at number 20 on the magazine’s list of the 100 best small companies in the U.S.
