Jim Wilcox is a marketing executive at IBM, where he leads the company’s data center and cloud computing strategic initiatives for the U.S. public sector.
The 28-year company veteran is also a partner in the global business services, U.S. public sector marketing development organization. Prior to joining the company’s public sector operations, he held a position in the CIO’s office, where he was responsible for key elements of the divestiture and information technology segmentation of the PC division to Lenovo in 2005.
He has also held several senior project executive roles leading global strategic outsourcing engagements in the financial services, industrial and retail sectors. According to the coopany, his experience includes leading large complex systems integration programs such managed services and application development, encompassing the full IT life cycle.
