Booz Allen Wins $73M DOE Award for R&D Services; Gary Rahl Comments

Booz Allen Hamilton has won a $73.1 million contract to provide research and development services to the Energy Department, the company announced Tuesday.

Under the award, the company will support the department’s advanced research projects agency‘s scientific, engineering, professional, finance and administrative operations over five years.

“Booz Allen’s integrated delivery team is honored to continue supporting ARPA-E in its mission of promoting revolutionary energy technological advances,” said Senior Vice President Gary Rahl.

Since 2009, the company has helped the agency develop technology and business process infrastructure to manage information flow between funding applicants, reviewers and the agency.

Previous work has included R&D program life cycle support and subject matter technical support for reviewing applications and building transparent funding opportunity announcement processes.

The company has also helped to manage projects in the agency’s R&D portfolio.
