DRC To Validate IRS Credit Card, Revenue Info Systems

Dynamics Research Corp. has won two contracts from the Internal Revenue Service for independent verification and validation services, the company announced Wednesday.

The company received $10.2 million through the Total Information Processing Support Services contract, the Treasury Department’s primary vehicle for technology-related services.

Work under a 5-year, $2.4 million contract includes validating credit card processing systems, with the goal of protecting taxpayer data.

The company also announced a separate 5-year, $7.8 million award to continue providing similar services for the agency’s research office, supporting the enforcement revenue information system and the compliance data warehouse.
