GTSI Corp. has launched an HP Cloud Center of Excellence at GTSI’s headquarters in Herndon, Va., GTSI announced Monday.
GTSI Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Wensinger said this is the only center of its type specifically targeted toward the public sector and will help agencies understand how to transition to cloud computing.
Agencies want expert guidance to help understand how cloud can fulfill missions, said Henry Fleischmann, chief technologist for HP’s federal cloud solutions unit.
The new center, integrated into GTSI’s customer briefing center, features public, private and hybrid cloud environments for the public sector.
HP has expanded its cloud portfolio to fulfill federal baseline security and privacy requirements.
