Indus To Mentor Arlington Firm In DOT Protege Pilot

Indus Corp. is the first mentor in a Transportation Department pilot program to help small business compete for and win prime contracts, DOT announced Friday.

The Vienna, Va.-based federal information technology services provider will mentor Miracle Systems Inc., an Arlington, Va.-based IT systems and software applications firm.

The Mentor-Protege program, Secretary of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood in April, partners small and disadvantaged businesses with large prime contractors to help them move to the next level.
