Xerox Corp. has won a $68 million contract with a state-established corporation in Florida to manage that company’s health insurance marketplace, the company announced Tuesday.
Under the nine-year contract, Xerox and partner CHOICE Administrators Exchange Solutions will build a cloud computing-based web portal and online plan selection tool for Florida Health Choices.
Citizens and small business owners will use the tool, said Will Saunders, Xerox president of government healthcare solutions.
According to Xerox, the tool will provide consumers and employers information on health insurance.
The company will also help Florida Health Choices determine eligibility, manage program enrollment management services and help operate a customer contact center.
