GeoEye Inc. has entered into two new seven-figure agreements with international partners for renewed and expanded use of the company’s satellite imagery products.

The company said a Middle East customer signed a new deal for access to GeoEye-1 sub half-meter imagery and that customer also has had access to IKONOS satellite imagery collection and distribution since 2000.

Under a separate agreement, a government customer in Asia will continue to use GeoEye-1 satellite imagery products and has held an agreement to do so since 2009.

Paolo Colombi, vice president of international sales, said the company has maintained relationships with both customers for many years and the company will provide them location intelligence.

Both partners will integrate GeoEye-1 imagery with their own systems to support regional security and peace missions, according to the company.
