Innolog Joins URS Navy Engineering Contract Team; Richard Stewart Comments

A Fairfax, Va.-based federal logistics solutions provider has joined a URS Corp.-led team that provides systems analysis and software modification services to the U.S. Navy.

Innovative Logistics Techniques Inc. won a subcontract to support the Navy’s Q30 program based in Dahlgren, Va, that company announced Friday.

Innolog hopes this contract win helps it expand its presence in the federal market, President Richard Stewart said in a release.

The team simulates models and provides systems engineering for the branch’s sensor systems department, based at the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s office in Dahlgren.

URS’ federal services business is testing and certifying systems for the Navy’s operations in command, control, communications, collaboration, computers and intelligence.

That equipment is installed on several classes of submarines.
