Northrop Wins $77M to Support Vehicle Radar System

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. (NYSE: NOC) has won a $76,727,752 U.S. Army contract for engineering and technical services.

The Defense Department announced Wednesday Northrop will support the Vehicle and Dismount Exploration Radar system.

Work under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract will be performed in Linthicum, Md.

The project is expected to be completed by April 26, 2013.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command in Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.
