SAIC Inc. is opening a new regional office in Beavercreek, Ohio July 26 to work with defense and intelligence customers in that region, the company announced Tuesday.
Chief Operating Officer Stu Shea is scheduled to speak at the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.
Ohio Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor, Sen. Chris Widener, and Dennis Andersh, SAIC senior vice president and Dayton regional account executive, are also scheduled to give remarks.
Andersh said in a release the company has more than 450 scientists, engineers, infrastructure support and other knowledge workers in the region, with many based at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
The company will work with customers in areas including aeronautics, human performance, logistics and manned and unmanned aircraft systems.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony will occur at 1:30 p.m July 26.
