CenturyLink Connecting Rocky Mtn Federal Offices to VoIP; Diana Gowen Comments

CenturyLink will provide Voice over Internet Protocol services to federal offices in the Rocky Mountain region, the company announced Thursday.

The company said it won a five-year task order through the General Services Administration’s Networx Enterprise contract, under a competitive fair opportunity process.

Diana Gowen, a senior vice president and general manager, said in a release the company will provide turnkey VoIP services to GSA’s customer agencies in the Rocky Mountain region.

Gowen, who heads the company’s business with federal, state and local governments, added the company has worked with the agency in that region for several decades

The company will connect GSA Region 8 offices to hosted and premises-based VoIP services in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Utah.
