Engility To Provide Marine Corps Mgmt Center Admin Support for Meetings, Workshops

Engility Corp. will help the Marine Corps’ Strategic Management Change Center carry out workshops and team meetings, the Defense Department announced Tuesday.

This center, based at the Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico, Va., serves as the command’s advocate and resource for strategic planning, Lean Six Sigma, performance management, leadership support, team training and facilitation for the warfighter.

The former services division of L-3 Communications will provide administrative and logistics support for the center’s competency leadership boards, community of practice boards, the strategic plan for years 2010 through 2014 and command work teams.

Engility will also help carry out the command’s acquisition excellence day.

Work will include drafting policy and procedures, facilitating workshops and team meetings and helping to plan and organize special events including the commander’s town hall meeting.

Ninety-five percent of work will occur in Dumfries, Va. and the rest in Quantico, Va. through July 2015.
