GTSI Corp. will update surveillance systems and support infrastructure inside and around Miami International Airport, the company announced Monday.
The company will partner with Nice Systems to update the airport’s NiceVision video surveillance solution for monitoring, managing and recording video from more than 2,600 cameras.
GTSI Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Wensinger said the company wants to help the airport protect passengers and personnel.
The company’s goal is to provide an integrated solution for video management, video analytics, ground-based radar, high resolution cameras and secure wireless networking, GTSI said in its release.
Nice’s Vision Net 2.5 video solution will provide video analytics for runway incursion detection, which the airport will use to monitor and secure restricted areas.
