Northrop Grumman to Mentor Juno Technologies Under Navy CANES Program

Northrop Grumman Corporation has partnered with Juno Technologies in a Department of Defense Mentor–Protégé agreement signed Aug. 6 to improve the interoperability and affordability of shipboard networks in the U.S. Navy’s Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services program.

Northrop is expected to mentor Juno Technologies in business development and industry conference participation, proposal development, foreign military sales and International Traffic in Arms Regulations.

Dave Wegmann, Northrop’s program director for CANES, said the company is “committed to advancing dynamic and creative small businesses.”

He added that Northrop considers this program as an opportunity “to help Juno enhance its company presence and business opportunities.”

Northrop has been involved in the DoD program since 1992 and has mentored over 100 small businesses thus far.
