Verizon will join a cybersecurity forum in Baltimore as part of the TechNet Land Forces conference series, the company announced Friday.
Marcus Sachs, VP for Verizon national security policy will participate in the conference series along with other military and industrial information technology security experts.
His panel, themed “Can the Internet Provide Cyber Security Going Forward?” will be conducted at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Md. on Aug. 14.
The TechNet Land Forces-East 2012 will focus on internet security and how public and private sectors can take part in combating cybersecurity attacks.
Verizon said it will have an exhibit at the conference between August 14-16.
During the event, experts will showcase advanced mobility management, cloud and network security, virtual desktop infrastructure and managed secure solutions for government.
AFCEA International will sponsor the conference series which provides the military, government, industry and academia with a forum for the advancement of communications, IT, intelligence and global security.
