Acentia has partnered with Eucalyptus Systems to become the first Federal Systems Integrator within the Eucalyptus Authorized Consulting Partner program, Eucalyptus announced today.

Dr. Tom Woteki, chief architect and senior vice president of strategy and solutions at Acentia, said creating and configuring cloud solutions for Eucalyptus will allow Acentia customers to deploy on-premise lab-as-a-service and private clouds for later migration to a secure hybrid or public cloud.

“Our adoption of Eucalyptus leading private cloud technology, which mirrors the APIs used in Amazon Web Services, gives our customers a seamless path for migration to Amazon’s FISMA and HIPAA compliant GovCloud,” Dr. Woteki added.

He also said being a certified EACP validates Acentia’s private and public cloud solution capabilities.

With its EACP status, Acentia said it will help federal government customers achieve network access, location independence and reduced costs by supporting cloud migration according to business and operational requirements.

Customers will be able to conduct cloud-based solutions in an on-premise, hybrid cloud environment through the company’s IaaS solutions lab.
