CSC to Continue Providing NASA Financial, HR Support

Computer Sciences Corp. has received a one-year NASA contract option to continue providing the agency financial management, human resources, procurement and information technology support services.

The agency said the $45 million option increases the company’s existing NASA Shared Services Center support contract to Sept. 30, 2013, covering the third option period.

NASA, CSC and the states of Mississippi and Louisiana are partners in the center, which performs business activities in the above four categories for all 10 NASA centers.

The SSC is located at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, home to a rocket testing facility.

CSC also received an extension in October 2011, covering the contract’s second option period.
