DynCorp International will help NASA maintain a carrier aircraft as the agency flies Space Shuttle Endeavour for the last time, the company announced Monday.

The company, NASA and other contractors are partnering to transport the shuttle on a Boeing 747-100 plane between Monday and Wednesday from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to the California Science Center in Los Angeles.

Endeavour will stop in Houston and El Paso, Texas along the way, where DynCorp maintenance workers will inspect the carrier plane.

DynCorp won a contract from NASA in April to provide aircraft maintenance and operational support services at different locations.
