QinetiQ to Help Coast Guard Manage Oil Spill Claims

QinetiQ North America announced today it was awarded two task orders to provide the Coast Guard with oil spill claim support services and data migration and documentation services.

These are the first task orders awarded on the contract, which is a five-year blanket purchase agreement with a total ceiling value of $27 million.

The company received the order through the Contractor Technical and Administrative Support Services contract from the Coast Guard’s National Pollution Funds Center.

Possible work could include expert claims review, project management, accounting and financial support, as well as other technical services.

QNA will help the branch review and process oil spill claims made against the branch’s Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund.
