The SI Org., ISYS Partnering in DHS Mentor-Protege Program

The SI Organization and Colorado-based ISYS Technologies have signed a mentor-protege agreement, where The SI will work with ISYS to develop its engineering and methodologies and administrative processes.

Through the Department of Homeland Security‘s Mentor-Protege program, the SI will also help ISYS position itself to compete for federal prime contracts during the three-year partnership.

ISYS, a woman-owned small business led by CEO Teresa Porter, received the Defense Department‘s Nunn-Perry Award in 2011.

In 2010, the company received a Small Business Administration award as Small Business Subcontractor of the Year for the agency’s REGION VIII.
