Michael Weiland is the director of business management for the civil and health services group of CSC‘s North American public sector.
During his 14-year CSC career, Weiland has served in roles with increasing responsibilities and has been in his current position since 2002.
His financial management role includes profit and loss responsibility, budgeting and forecasting, proposal preparation and pricing, and operational business management responsibilities including internal and external customer reporting.
CHSG customers include all U.S. government civilian agencies (with the exception of Department of State and Justice) and state and local departments.
During his time with CSC, Weiland has been involved in programs such as the IRS PRIME where he served as the finance and administration director.
He has been involved in the implementation of earned value management systems and has been an advisor to multiple CSC organizations including the training of personnel.
Prior to CSC, Weiland worked at NASA for 16 years.
He has a BS degree in Finance from the University of Maryland College Park and completed the eCornell Executive Leadership Program in 2009.
