The General Services Administration has selected CareView Communications to be a part of the agency’s Multiple Award Schedule program, CareView announced Wednesday.
This approval means the company can now offer its products and services to Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities, Defense Department hospitals and other federal agencies.
The company is also receiving interest from private hospitals, CEO Samuel Greco said in a release.
CareView will sell its CareView system at a negotiated rate to the approximate 169 VA facilities with over 39,000 licensed beds and the approximate 42 DOD hospitals with over 2,600 licensed beds.
GSA approved the company’s Primary Care package and patient-room management application.
The Primary Care package includes Virtual Bed Rails, NurseView and PatientView, which hospital personnel use to secure soldiers that are patients and the management application is used for scheduling and time management.
