Harris Corp. has won a three-year contract from an Arizona-based healthcare organization to provide a system for patient data collection and messaging, the company announced Wednesday.
Under the $7.6 million contract, the company will connect clinicians at Scottsdale Health Partners to its Clinical Integration Solution, which also provides workflow and analytics tools for accessing data from multiple sources, exchanging clinical results and generating patient records.
“Harris’ vendor-neutral Clinical Integration Solution combines the workflow and patient-centric solutions Harris acquired from Carefx in 2010 with Harris’ open architecture approach and secure IT infrastructure capabilities,” said Tony Galluscio, Harris vice president for enterprise solutions within the healthcare solutions business.
He added in a release the company will work with SHP to reduce duplication of services.
The company’s Provider Portal aggregates patient information from disparate clinical data sources used by physicians, the Smart Messaging system provides secure electronic communications between patients and Referral Management manages the referral life cycle.
Harris’ Provider Portal also integratse clinical information and workflow with the MedVentive population management system to help physicians identify at-risk populations.
