ICF International has won a potential five-year contract with the National Eye Institute to provide communications services for the National Eye Health Education Program, the company announced Wednesday.
The company will provide creative and multimedia services, help write articles for peer-reviewed journals, develop abstracts and give presentations at national conferences on behalf of the NEI.
“For more than 15 years, ICF has worked with NEI’s National Eye Health Education Program,” said Shelly Heath-Watson, an ICF principal. “All of our work is in support of the program goal to make vision a health priority for the United States.”
Work will also include strategic planning, program development, implementation and evaluation, partnership development, formative research, media placements, social media, community-based training and capacity building.
The Fairfax, Va.-based firm is also helping the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention study youth health, including tobacco use.
