NetApp has appointed Jonathan Kissane senior vice president and chief strategy officer, where he will lead corporate development initiatives including acquisitions and equity investments, the company announced Wednesday.
Kissane will report to President and CEO Tom Georgens also be responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities for technology collaboration and strategic relationships.
Before joining NetApp, he served as senior vice president of corporate development at CA Technologies, where he aimed to identify potential opportunities for improving CA’s competitive position and information technology management portfolio.
The company also announced a new chief technology officer as part of this move to define and put into practice its business and technology vision, aimed at both pursuing current technology and business trends and positioning itself for a new growth phase.
