Northrop Grumman will have three executives speak at the World’s Best Technologies Innovation Marketplace for 2012, which is a showcase event for mentored and vetted intellectual property and technologies ready for the market.
The event takes place October 24-26, and is being held at the San Diego Convention Center.
Paul Meyer, Northrop Grumman’s sector vice president and general manager of advanced programs and technology for the aerospace systems, is assigned to be the keynote speaker on October 25.
Meyer said that Northrop Grumman continues to enhance innovation by way of organizations such as the company’s advanced programs and technology team.
He added that participating in the event will give the company the opportunity to interact with visionaries and problem solvers.
Doug Shane, Northrop Grumman’s president for scaled composite business will speak on the open innovation panel focusing on how corporations can successfully tap the innovation ecosystem and how start-up companies can benefit.
Jim Zortman, Northrop Grumman’s sector vice president and unmanned systems development center site manager, will speak on the hot markets and sizzling sectors panel, which will discuss market opportunities and innovation.
