Rockwell Collins has established a value-added reseller program for its satellite communications products with aims to expand its distribution, according to a company statement.
Atlantic Diving Supply, a provider of operational equipment solutions for government customers is the first dealer to qualify as a VAR.
Rockwell Collins and ADS are to provide 37 SWE-DISH CommuniCase® Technology CCT120 satellite manportable terminals through the special operational equipment tailored logistics support contract, administered through the Defense Logistics Agency.
The VAR program requires participants to meet certain criteria and offer values and benefits to customers beyond those typically provided by distributors.
“This program will enable Rockwell Collins to reach customers we haven’t been successful in reaching previously, leveraging the expertise of our VARs to provide customers with solutions tailored to their specific needs,” said Bob Haag, vice president and general manager of communication and navigation products for Rockwell Collins.
Authorized Rockwell Collins satellite communications dealers can qualify and enjoy additional benefits through the VAR program, according to the company.
