DLT Solutions and K-TEK Solutions are expanding their partnership to offer a mobile data collection system to public sector customers, the companies announced Monday.

The FullCircle SmartSolutions Suite is developed by ChasmTech and distributed by K-TEK, with DLT offering the suite on its General Services Administration schedule.

Workers in the field use the suite to transmit data back to their offices by using the same database.

“Many government agencies are facing daily challenges managing forms, field data and as-built information,” said Jim Helou, DLT senior vice president for the Autodesk product line. “We are seeing a prime example of the applicability of this solution with the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.

“With the FullCircle SmartSolutions Suite, field workers surveying destruction from Sandy can take notes which can then be immediately uploaded back to the home office to speed response.”

The suite is comprised of a smart pen and a tablet.

“Public sector customers are facing real challenges when exchanging data between the office and the field,” said Cathy Wagenaar, President of K-TEK. “With SmartInk PDF, it doesn’t matter if field workers lose the original paper or leave it with a customer, since an electronic copy of the completed form is automatically created and stored.”

The companies are demonstrating the system this week at Autodesk University in Las Vegas.

  1. Hey! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My website looks weird when viewing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a
theme or plugin that might be able to resolve
this issue. If you have any recommendations, please share.

    Appreciate it!
