Bob Prieto, senior vice president of Fluor Corp.’s industrial and energy group, was recently inducted to the College of Fellows for the Construction Management Association of America in recognition of his contributions to the industry and profession.
According to Fluor, Prieto was recognized at the CMAA’s national conference in Chicago, becoming one of 58 fellows in the association’s 30-year history.
“The Fellows designation is the highest honor that CMAA bestows on an individual,” said Bruce D’Agostino, CMAA’s president and CEO. “It is a pleasure to recognize Bob and congratulate him on being selected a Fellow for our organization.”
“Our entire Fluor team is proud of Bob for receiving this prestigious honor from CMAA,” said Steve Dobbs, senior group president of Fluor’s industrial and infrastructure business. “Bob’s commitment to the engineering and construction industry and his global recognition as a thought leader have been a great benefit to both Fluor and the industry as a whole.”
Prieto joined Fluor and participates in other international and professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, where he serves as a member on its industry leaders council.
He has written more than 400 publications and speeches including three on program management and holds degrees from New York University and the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
