Iron Bow said McAfee recognized it for investing in an information security practice that works with customers in both the public and private sectors.
“Government agencies are facing a rapidly evolving threat landscape impacted by the pervasiveness of mobility devices and social networks,” President and CEO Rene LaVigne said. “It is no longer a matter of whether an incident will occur, but when it will happen.
“While security incidents may be inevitable, it is crucial that we bring together information security expertise with industry leading solutions that will minimize the extent of a security breach.”
LaVigne added the company partners with McAfee to provide customers information security products and services.
The company received its award at McAfee’s annual Global Security Alliance Partner Summit.
As one of McAfee’s Elite Partners, Iron Bow provides government agencies and private enterprises McAfee’s data protection, database security, email and web security, endpoint protection, mobile security and network security products.
In April, Iron Bow was named Cisco’s federal partner of the year and civilian services partner of the year.
