Kratos Awarded $30M Health IT Services Contract; Michael Smith Comments

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has won a $29.5 million contract for information technology services supporting the TRICARE management activity defense health and information management system, according to a company statement.

Michael Smith, Kratos senior vice president for enterprise technology, said they are looking forward to providing project management services and helping the military deliver a world-class health information management system for service members as well as their families, the user community and the combatant commands.

The contract includes delivery management, integration, development services and testing to support new and updated software applications for the military’s health system.
