According to an Oracle statement, the annual awards recognize companies that have “demonstrated innovation and exceptional performance” in either customer experience, integrated business operations or enterprise transformation.
GDIT and DRS were both included in the integrated business operations category.
Oracle said that GDIT was able to transform its financial and operational business strategies this year by consolidating planning applications using Oracle hyperion enterprise planning suite and Oracle business intelligence enterprise.
According to the statement, DRS built an integrated business operations platform with the Oracle E-business suite supply chain and manufacturing applications.
The move led to the consolidation of operations and improved the company’s ability to leverage information across multiple legacy systems, share assets and measure and report in a consistent way.
Oracle picked Mazda Motor Corporation and GE Home and Business Solutions for the enterprise transformation category and Subaru of America, Inc. and Hyundai Capital America for the customer service category.
