The company said Berra brings experience in positions involving engineering, construction, program management, business development, operations and executive management.
His experience includes upstream, midstream and downstream markets.
“Rob is the right person at the right time to help us excel and grow in this environment,” said Mike Szomjassy, president of the energy, water and facilities division. “The energy and chemicals markets are poised for substantial growth over the next 2 to 3 years as each segment we support has tremendous opportunities.”
Berra most recently served as an executive vice president at energy infrastructure service provider Willbros, where he oversaw sales and marketing functions.
Prior to Willbros, he served as senior VP of commercial operations at Foster Wheeler USA, where he led the heavy oil technology portfolio and chemicals business line.
Before joining Foster Wheeler, he held senior leadership posts for ConocoPhillips‘ capital project development function and served as portfolio manager for pipeline projects.
He also held executive management positions at both The Shaw Group and KBR.
