Charlie Thomas on How Razorsight is Positioning Itself for the Future of Global Comms, Mobility and Big Data

“The communications industry is going through a metamorphosis and unbelievable transformation as the world moves increasingly toward mobile, social, video content and big data… we load massive amounts of data and analyze that data with a variety of tools and applications to give (carriers and other firms) greater insight, greater automation, more flexibility, scalability and growth.”

Charlie Thomas, chief executive of cloud computing-based analytics software firm Razorsight, was recently recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia as part of Governor Bob McDonnell’s initiative to highlight how entrepreneurs are driving economic growth by innovating technology and other activity.

This summer, the founder and former CEO of Net2000 shared some thoughts on how his company is delivering value to current customers and where the company is looking to drive growth in the future.

The company’s current customers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, WindStream, CenturyLink, Comcast, Telos and Time Warner.

Deloitte also ranked the firm eight on its Virginia Fast 50 list and 114th on its National Fast 500.

Watch the video above for more insight into how Charlie aims to “navigate that sea change both from a technology perspective, but also from a customer delivery, customer service perspective and the ability to roll out new services quickly and easily.”
