NetApp has named Datalink, a data center infrastructure and services provider, its Healthcare Partner of the Year, citing strong revenue performance from its NetApp-based solutions for healthcare institutions nationwide.
According to a DataLink statement, the award was presented at NetApp’s annual U.S. public sector partner summit in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
It is the first such recognition to be presented to a channel partner since NetApp launched its healthcare arm two years ago, said David Nesvisky, NetApp healthcare senior director, who cited Datalink’s “exemplary” sales, design and support of IT solutions for both companies’ healthcare constituents.
NetApp says healthcare organizations are challenged with tackling the fast data growth fueled by migration to electronic medical records and the increasing medical imaging archives.
