Richard Selvaggio, Kratos to Support International Radar Program

Kratos’ unmanned systems solutions division has been awarded up to $4.6 million in contracts for specialized equipment supporting the International Radar Program of an unnamed international customer.

The company will design, produce and engineer the equipment in a manufacturing facility in the U.S.

Richard Selvaggio, president of Kratos’ unmanned systems solutions, said that the division focuses on increasing the company’s international business in the missile system, defense and aerial drone and target markets.

Selvaggio estimates that 30 percent of the company’s corporate-wide business and revenue is not funded by the U.S. Defense Department and 10 percent supports the company’s international customers.
