Computer Sciences Corp. will provide the U.S. Marine Corps software engineering design and programming services for enterprise business systems.
The Defense Department said the Marine Corps awarded the potential $26,769,058 contract on a sole-source basis to support the USMC technology services organization’s requirements.
According to a FedBizOpps post, the contract includes a 6-month base period and two one-month option periods.
The company will also perform integration and testing work.
Business mission areas covered under the TSO include the deputy commandant for program and resources, the deputy commandant for manpower and reserve affairs and the deputy commandant for installation and logistics.
Ninety-six percent of the work will occur in Kansas City, Miss. and the rest will occur in Indianapolis through June 28, 2013.
