Rhodes has more than 25 years’ experience in government and government contracting specializing in solution sets that combine operations, systems, people, and processes into assured mission performance.
Before joining to QinetiQ NA, he served as the U.S. Government Accountability Office’s first chief technologist, reporting directly to the U.S. Comptroller General.
Prior to GAO, he worked with the National Laboratories, where his last assignment was as supervisory scientist, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
At Livermore he managed and led a project for the design, development and testing of the space- and ground-based secure communications segment of a Department of Defense strategic defense system.
Before his government service, he worked at the Northrop Aircraft Company and the Ohio State University.
He is the first recipient of the Arthur S. Flemming Medal for Applied Science, the Congressional Distinguished Service Award, and the NIMA (now NGA) Director’s Award for Exemplary Service.
