NJVC has promoted John Herweh, vice president of human resources, to the senior vice president ranks and Adriel Cardona from chief security officer to security director.
The company said Herweh, who joined NJVC in 2011 as HR VP, will report directly to President Jody Tedesco and be responsible for directing training, employee relations, talent acquisition and management, compensation, benefits and security.
Cardona will oversee security-related issues for the company and customers and be responsible for providing security briefings to senior staff members and government officials.
He will also oversee investigations of security-related incidents, assess and implement methods to address security incidents, develop and evaluate security policies and oversee security staff.
“Both John Herweh and Adriel Cardona have proven their individual expertise and leadership in their respective fields during their tenures with the company, and I am most pleased to announce their promotions to more senior positions to the benefit of our company and customers,” Tedesco said.
Before joining NJVC, Herweh led associate relations at Perdue Farms’ processing plant in Milford, Del. and led employee relations, conflict resolution, turnover reduction tactics, labor law issues and philanthropy.
Prior to Perdue, he served as employee integration manager at Hershey.
Cardona served as security manager and technical security policy chief at Gannon Technologies Group before joining NJVC.
He also was a security management specialist at Rockwell Collins and senior security manager at Automation Precision Technologies.
