Serco Inc. has won a prime position on a $900 million SPAWAR contract to provide production, installation and in-service support to the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, Army and other agencies.
“This new contract supports SSC Atlantic’s vision to make IT count for the warfighter and the Nation,” said Kent Brown, vice president of Serco’s engineering unit. “Serco is ready to expand its support of SSC Atlantic and the information dominance mission of its PII Portfolio and the Fleet Readiness Directorate.”
This position allows Serco to bid on task orders to provide PII support, life-cycle logistics, training and large-scale integration to deliver and sustain C5ISR mission capabilities.
The SPAWAR systems center Atlantic pillar multiple award contract is one of 24 newly implemented pillar MACs to deliver technical services of the SSC Atlantic portfolios.
It includes one base year and four one-year options periods.
Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and other locations worldwide.
