He has experience in contract management, procurement, and consulting and has managed accounts with Fortune 100 and 500 companies on multimillion/billion dollar contracts, providing executive leadership focusing on risk mitigation and maximizing revenue.
In the Accenture role since 2008, Pospichel controls cost and resources by employing contract management processes. While leading contracts teams of 90+ professionals, he ensures delivery of contract agreements across multiple areas of business.
Under his direction, the federal contract management team grew by 40% and he is credited with managing a budget of $10 million.
The 18-year industry veteran has integrated three acquired companies and has led his team to achieve 90% utilization targets.
From 2004 to 2008, Pospichel was the director of contracts for defense networks for AT&T Inc. He managed more than $1.6 billion in yearly proposal opportunities and approximately $6 billion in existing contracts for Defense clients.
He previously served in management roles for Anteon Corp. and as an Independent consultant from 2000 to 2004—as well as in several roles with WorldCom, Inc. as manager of strategic procurement and manager of UUNET strategic contracts.
Prior to those positions, he provided senior-level contributions in the subcontracts and contracts organizations at Booz Allen Hamilton, Standard Missile Company (now Raytheon missile systems) and PRC (now Northrop Grumman information technology).
Pospichel is a standing member of National Conracts Management Association (NCMA).
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics and a Masters degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Management from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
