A General Dynamics subsidiary has received industry recognition for its network visibility product aimed at helping organizations see and stop threats such as malware and non-malware based attacks.
Gartner recognized the subsidiary for developing Fidelis XPS to analyze and control ports and channels for defending against threats such as data breaches, according to General Dynamics.
“We are continuing to invest in our solutions to stay ahead of the curve as the threat landscape continues to change dramatically,” said Peter George, president of General Dynamics Fidelis Cybersecurity Solutions.
General Dynamics acquired the subsidiary in 2012, when it was known as Fidelis Security Systems, and integrated it into the advanced information systems unit.
Fidelis XPS users create customized rules and acquire third-party threat intelligence for their security postures, General Dynamics said.
