Grant Thornton has been ranked 33rd on Training magazine’s annual list of the 125 top companies that conduct employer-sponsored training and development programs.
This ranking represents the fourth consecutive year the firm has held a spot on the list, Grant Thornton said Thursday.
Training magazine nominates organizations for its Top 125 list based on statistics such as total training budget, hours of training per employee annually and detailed formal programs.
Final rankings are based on qualitative and quantitative factors such as financial investment in employee development, scope of development programs and links between development efforts and business goals and objectives.
“As a firm, we aspire to support our professionals and give them access to opportunities that will help them develop and stretch their skills,” said Mike McGuire, Grant Thornton national managing partner of markets, industries, people and culture.
The magazine revealed the rankings at a Monday awards gala in Orlando, Fla.
