ICF Adds New Utility Analytics Support Win; David Pickles Comments

ICF International has won a $20 million contract to help a U.S. utility carry out its energy efficiency programs, the company said Monday.

Under the three-year contract, ICF will implement a set of programs for the utility’s residential, commercial and industrial customers.

This award follows a January 2012 contract win to help the Energy Trust of Oregon run efficiency programs for commercial customers.

“While ICF had previously implemented a subset of these programs for this client, this award expands ICF’s contract more than five-fold,” said David Pickles, an ICF senior vice president.

Pickles added the company will also provide the utility information technology and analytics services for the programs.

Residential programs include providing incentives for increasing construction efficiency of new homes and testing and incentives for existing homes.

Commercial programs include incentives for custom and prescriptive efficiency projects and energy master planning and retro-commissioning services.

The company will utilize its SIMS software application to track data and manage systems for the programs.

ICF will also help manage metrics, segment customers, call centers and rebate processing services.
