NetApp Adds Cloud Storage Provider To Partner Alliance; Rahul Bakshi Comments

NetAppCloud computing storage provider Mezeo Software has joined a NetApp program that gives partners infrastructure and application providers access to NetApp products and services.

Mezeo said it joins the NetApp Alliance Partner Program with the intent to provide file synchronization and collaboration tools to NetApp storage users.

NetApp enterprise users will offer customers a file-sync-and-share product with their own servers and security on NetApp storage, Mezeo said.

Services and programs covered in the partnership include NetApp storage systems via the Cloud Data Management Interface and NetApp Distributed Content Repositories powered by  StorageGRID® on E-Series, NetApp’s object storage platform.

“Organizations looking to deploy public clouds and massive scale out capabilities will leverage Mezeo with NetApp storage solutions such as Distributed Content Repositories based on StorageGRID object storage software, and can leverage CDMI to import data from other storage clouds and applications,” said Rahul Bakshi, Mezeo senior vice president of sales and marketing.

MezeoFile is available on Windows, Mac, smartphone, tablet and browser interfaces.
