Red Hat Joins HP Tech Alliance; Alan Sanchez Comments

RedHatLogoOpen source solutions provider Red Hat is joining a Hewlett-Packard alliance program in a move to continue their more-than-10-year working relationship.

HP Enterprise Services Technology Alliance members help HP develop, implement and market specific technologies or domains, Red Hat said Tuesday.aHP-TNNI

“Becoming a part of HP’s Enterprise Services Technology Alliance solidifies the work we’ve done together to design, build and deploy solutions in a range of industries,” said Alan Sanchez, Red Hat director of global strategic alliances.

HP Enterprise Services offers Red Hat products for outsourcing clients and also uses Red Hat JBoss Middleware technology and Red Hat Enterprise Linux as platforms to develop products.

Red Hat-based HP Enterprise Services products include the HP Service Orchestration Manager, HP SDP Service Governance Framework, HP Storefront and Mobility Gateway and HP Aggregation Platform for SaaS (software-as-a-service).
